2024 Ten Minutes By Tractor ‘Down The Hill’ Estate Pinot Noir
$64.00
This is one of Trent’s favourite Pinot Noirs from the Mornington Peninsula. It is also a wine that proves great Pinot Noir does not need a huge price tag.
The 2024 Down the Hill drinks beautifully, with generous fruit and impressive savoury complexity. There is enough richness to satisfy, while the wine still feels fresh and elegant.
Cherry and raspberry flavours make it incredibly approachable from the first glass. Earthy notes and gentle spice add complexity without making the wine feel overly serious. Most importantly, it is ridiculously easy to drink. It is the sort of Pinot Noir you open for one glass, then quickly pour another.
It entered our Australian Favourite Pinot Noir episode as a wildcard and surprised us by coming out on top.
Our verdict: a beautifully drinking Mornington Peninsula Pinot with exceptional quality and value.
