$81.00
8 out of 10 CORKSCREWS
The Wined Up Review – Recommended by Merrick Watts
Merrick Watts recommended this Grenache and we understand why! When we tried it Trent was pairing it with a Filipino Chicken and Pork Adobo and the pairing was an 8 out of 10, yet the wine on its own is a definite 8 out of 10! Beautiful red and clay colours. Smells of confectionary pastel lollies but states of red clay, bright red fruits, high alcohol, with a hint of a cedar on the finish. Delicious. Pair it with food or just enjoy it on its own.

Smart Grenache – Tasting Notes
‘Luxardo, cherry pits, rhubarb, raspberry, and nutty aromas present as a big truck loaded with flavour and headed for your palate without so much as a warning toot of the horn. Reluctant to describe our Grenache as Pinot-like, this vintage sees us reaching for descriptors that remind us of Pomard: red liquorice, caramelising sugar in a hot pan, and rose water.’ (www.pannell.com.au).
