Amisfield Winery

Amisfield is a distinguished 93-hectare organic estate nestled beneath the Pisa mountain range in Central Otago, New Zealand. Established in 1988 by John Darby, the winery is deeply connected to its alpine landscape—where the rhythm of the seasons and dramatic conditions shape wines of purity and character. The extremes of Mount Pisa, both shielding and challenging, impart complexity, texture, and a distinctive sense of place to every vintage.

Specialising in Pinot Noir and refined aromatic whites, Amisfield crafts wines through low-intervention methods that allow the fruit and land to speak clearly. The result is elegant, expressive wines that reflect the nuances of each growing season.
