Via Pola Wines

Via Pola Wines is a family-run wine label shaped by Italian heritage, generations of farming and a love of the varieties that have long been part of the Italian table.

The Valeri family has been growing grapes in the Riverina since the 1970s, and today winemaker and viticulturist Peter Valeri is continuing that story through Via Pola. Working with Italian varieties including Fiano, Pecorino, Vermentino, Nero d’Avola and Montepulciano, Peter makes small-batch wines from the family vineyard with a hands-on approach from vine to bottle.

The wines take plenty of inspiration from Italy, but they are very much grown and made in Australia. Warm sunshine, expressive fruit and a focus on freshness and texture shape wines that are generous, food-friendly and full of personality.

At its heart, Via Pola is about the things the Valeri family has always loved about Italian culture – good wine, good food and bringing people together around the table.
