Mosquito Hill Wines

Mosquito Hill Wines is nestled in the rolling hills of the Southern Fleurieu, 9km inland of the Southern Ocean. We farm 5 hectares of predominately Pinot Noir & Chardonnay, with small parcels of Pinot Blanc and Savagnin. Our 290m elevation, proximity to the coast and cool climate lends itself to growing high-quality Chardonnay & Pinot Noir grapes.

Planted in 1996 & 1998 and dry grown since 2005, the vineyards thrive in loamy ironstone over clay soil with several large bands of limestone. Both blocks are on a gentle east-facing slop meeting Currency Creek at the bottom and our winery perched at the top. It’s here we make our wines and pursue the stylistic qualities of Burgundy and Champagne.
